Jayson S. Sohi joined Axcel Law Partners, LLP in 2014, focusing on litigation matters in a variety of technological and commercial areas. Prior to joining Axcel, Jayson worked as corporate counsel for a bay area eCommerce software company, where he assisted with litigation, contract drafting, corporate due diligence, and patent portfolio development.
Jayson received his J.D. cum laude, from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 2013, with a certificate in Intellectual Property and Technology Law, with Honors. While at USF, Jayson acted as the Editor-in-Chief of the Intellectual Property Law Bulletin, and participated as a National semi-finalist in the AIPLA's 39th Moot Court Competition.
Jayson received CALI Awards for Excellence in Patent Law, Patent Licensing, and Patent Prosecution, and was admitted to the McAuliffe Honor Society. Jayson received his BS in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University in 2007, and gained technical experience working for Beckman Coulter, Inc. prior to attending law school.
Jayson is admitted to practice in the State of California, and before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
